Greetings - I am a new member after buying my first milling machine - an Atlas horizontal mill. I still do not have a positive ID of the model because the tag was removed when a reversing control switch was installed in place of the original on/off switch. It has a power table feed so I think it is an MFB or MFC.

The MFB had that cast cutter guard (M1-22) overarm was further supported by another set of M6-45 clamping devices in the outboard part of that cast guard. These are pretty rare. The deal is that the overarm support to the milling arbor was different (M1-8) . The newer MFC dispenced with the cutter guard and used M1-60 arbor support.
